Do you have the right attributes to become a
Dove Home Domiciliary Home Carer
- Sense of humor and friendly nature
- Able to undertake shift work and work weekends in rotation
- Able to work in a team or individually with support
- Ability to liaise with residents’ families and other significant people
- Good listening and communication skills
- Familiarity with older people’s needs
- Experience in caring or having the right attitude to care work
- Ability to socialise with people of all ages, race, gender or ethnic origin without distinction or prejudice
- Car driver with current driving licence is preferred
- Able to provide personal care

- Everything to do with medication / doctors appointments
- Being on call during the day – with a two-hour break.
- Response to calls at night, as required *
* If there are many night calls our carer tells us and with the family we set up a suitable new care plan.
Live-in carers have their own personal and private bedroom in clients’ homes.
They really do ‘Live-in’ so they are always there to help and care for their client.
