Our aim is to allow people the dignity, comfort, and convenience of staying in their own homes for as long as they can.
To enable this, we offer a home care visit service where we can pop in for as little as 15 minutes, just to check that everything is ok, or we can be there for an entire 24 hours, maybe while a family member is away.
Any circumstances can be catered for, whether we need to look after an individual or a couple; whether they need a visit once a week or four times a day. It’s an incredibly important service, allowing vulnerable or elderly people to have someone checking in on them, giving them both practical assistance as well as a friendly face and companionship.
Our Carers
The role of our carers will depend on the needs of each client and can include:
Administration of medication
Personal care services – help with getting up, going to bed, washing, and dressing
Assistance with moving around the house, garden, and outdoors
Meal preparation
Shopping and running errands such as collecting prescriptions
Companionship and conversation
Our carers are trained in a wide range of areas including first aid, health & safety, food hygiene & nutrition, safeguarding, moving & handling, infection control, and many other topics. Specialist training is also given to those of our carers who need to look after clients with dementia, Alzheimer’s, or who require peg feeding.
Are you interested in Live In Care?
We supply live-in carers for any clients over the age of 18 throughout England, Scotland, and Wales, who need constant support and companionship, whether for convalescent care or something more permanent.
Before we can suggest a package of home care visits that meets the needs of a prospective client we’ll arrange a home visit.
This is free of charge and during the visit we will establish the exact needs, wants, and wishes from the client and their family, taking into account medical, practical and lifestyle requirements. We’ll also determine the type of person that would be best matched to the client’s personality so we can recommend the most suitable carers. We will then follow up with a proposed home care visit plan, which will include a full and detailed costing, for the client and / or their family to review.
