Each person is unique and deserves an opportunity to live out their lives as independently and happily as they can, with the level of support they need to achieve this.
Personal care is available for daily tasks that you are now unable to do, such as bathing, showering, dressing and toileting, all in the comfort of your own home.
Working to your regular routines, your personal carer will ensure that you get all the support that you need, tailored to your specific needs. Your fully trained carer will deliver you an exemplary level of care which is perfect for you. We believe in the importance of seeing a familiar face on a regular basis, especially when it comes to personal care.
Our personal care covers
Bathing and showering, including bed-baths.
Applying lotions and creams as required.
Dressing and getting ready for bed.
Oral hygiene.
Applying make-up, and hair care.
Support with shaving.
Foot care, especially if you are diabetic and need to be extra vigilant with your feet, we are unable to cut toe nails, but will liaise with your chiropodist if you wish.
Helping you to the toilet, including using a commode or bed pan.
Changing continence pads, along with cleaning intimate area.
Support moving position in bed, to stretch and prevent bed sore.
Changing or maintaining a stoma or catheter bag, or another form of clinical intervention.
Carers are there to give you all of the support that you need, but somethings you may prefer to do yourself. Your carer will respect this and will try to encourage your independence in every way possible in order to achieve your own personal goal.
